About us

The House Feast Network was founded in October 2005 by Peter and Henny Vlug. They did this in the Swiss Alps during the Feast of Trumpets. The handbook "House Feasts" (Dutch) by Peter E. Vlug was published in October 2008. Peter and Henny Vlug then begun planting house feasts in various countries, which now grow at a rapid rate.

Mission Statement

The goal of the House Feast Network is to equip all generations within a familiy for a joint family ministry. So that they can reach their world with the gospel of Yeshua the Messiah, in obedience to the Biblical comission and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We want to achieve this by means of:

  1. trainings and conferences;
  2. intercessory prayer;
  3. various media that we publish.

The House Feast Network distinguishes between four Biblical types of events:

  • Gatherings
  • Conferences, Biblical feasts, temple court activities
  • Houses of study (Learnhouse)
  • House feasts

Because the emphasis in our time is on gatherings and the houses of study, the House Feast Network commits itself to establish and support house feasts and conferences.

Our commission

The House Feast Network wants to offer every human being, of any age and from any country, the possibility to at least once in their lifetime hear about the saving plan of Yeshua the Messiah, and to experience it together with believers. We speak of Yeshua the Messiah, who was nailed to the stake, and who brings salvation for anyone who believes in Him. He is the same yesterday, today and in all eternity.

Believers or families who are true to the Bible open up their homes by means of house feasts, as prescribed in the Old Testament and expressed in the New Testament. Every generation within this group is equipped by the House Feast Network so they can perform their individual ministries. To this end, conferences and Biblical feasts are organized; study material (such as books, video- and audio clips, the TXT Fondues, and other media) are published, and the organization provides coaching where necessary. This way, everyone can shape their faith individually, and reach unsaved people by celebrating the house feasts, which are facilitated and can come into contact with one another through the House Feast Network.

The House Feast Network wants to return to the Biblical basis and do precisely that, what the first believers did as well. Let us not do anything more and anything less than what the Bible exactly prescribes. Anyone who can read can see for him-/herself what we stand for, because everything we do can be found in the Bible. Our slogan is: "Where does it say so in the Bible?" Our mission is:

families … (Isaiah 43:5–7)

… to rescue all who stagger to slaughter. (Proverbs 24:11–12)

The House Feast Network is co-signer of the Lausanne Covenant and a member of the Swiss Evangelical Alliance.
